CAMBODIAN CHEMICAL SOCIETY
VISION
The Cambodian Chemical Society
(CCS) envisions The Science of Chemistry and Chemists, Students and Researchers
in Cambodia with advanced knowledge and skills appropriate to the national
requirements of research capacity, the labor market and production. CCS
supports the Principals of Green Chemistry in order to reduce waste, maintains
the Environment, and enhances the National Economy and Human safety.
MISSION
CCS’s mission is to develop the
Chemistry sector in Cambodia through Scientific Chemical Research; develop the
capacity/skills of all Cambodian Chemists and organize National/ International
Scientific Forums on the Chemical Research; disseminate information in order to
increase the effectiveness of Chemical knowledge for society and the Nation and
promote the transfer of new knowledge and skills in chemistry in national
language for Cambodian people.
OBJECTIVES
The CCS’s main objectives are as
follows:
- Encourage and facilitate research in Chemistry and Applied Chemistry.
- Create a Forum to exchange new knowledge and experiences among National and International Chemists.
- Strengthen and improve the skills of the Cambodian Teachers/Students and Intellectuals by improving the curriculum, research methodology, teaching methods and experimental work in Chemistry.
- Create/Compile/disseminate useful discoveries and knowledge, which are the foundation of Chemistry and Applied Chemistry, by any possibility means.
